  I have stayed here over a dozen times over the last 5 years, always had a great experience..good beer, clean rooms..a bit noisy due to the road but food great and super friendly staff. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but apparently the place has been taken over by fullers...we arrived yesterday and there is no real ale...none...usually 3 good beers on tap now none. we did'nt risk eating in the restaurant as we had customers with us and were a little worried that things may have changed there as well. Anyway returned back to the hotel at 11.15 and asked any chance to get a end of evening drink...its a hotel right! and were told categorically we don't serve after 11 goodnight. Thanks and we wont be staying here again, we usually spend on average £200 a night between us and our customers not including the room rate what with dinner and drinks....wont be doing this again. Bitterly disappointed I would not usually bother putting pen to paper and will also post on trip advisor where 4 weeks ago posted a great review of my stay before Christmas.
  Really not happy and won't be back..after 5 years of very good stays one very bad one has done it.

  Best food I've ever tasted and lovely rooms. Great staff. Stay here for business and will be staying again.
